What To See

The dam is in between the state of West Bengal and Jharkhand. The best place to stay is Majumdar Niwas which is next to the dam. Kalyaneswari temple is very near by and falls on the way. Best time is winter.

It is approximately 12 kilometer away from DHANBAD. This place is very good for playing and enjoyment as well as nice to do picnics. It's the best place to visit in the city like dhanbad where you will find natural fall, jungle, etc.

Birsa munda park is very famous in Dhanbad for lots of masti and gathering you found here all are busy to enjoy their enjoyment.

The Panchet Dam is located in the district of Dhanbad in Jharkhand. The last to be built out of the four multi-purpose dams that were constructed under the Damodar Valley Corporation or DVC, the Panchet Dam first opened in 1959.
